Great friendly service and great food! If it wasn't 3 hrs away from my place, I'd go there all the time.
The service was great! Our server gave us helpful suggestions. The food was packed with flavor and it tasted like my grandmother was cooking in the kitchen. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is a small neighborhood treasure. We had a great time and look forward to our next dining experience with Mofongos.
Find Spanish food this place offers, nostalgic feeling and a delicious meal all wrapped up on the plate. We had Pernil, stewed chicken and red snapper Mofongo. I don't drink very often, but I tried the tamarind. margarita It was delightful. Our server was sweet and the little restaurant makes you feel very comfortable.
I've only ever had this delivered but everything I've had off the menu which is substantial, mostly everything... is delicious. Travels well for delivery so it's safe to say in person it's probably next level! Definitely try this!
The food was great. I loved everything about it. The service when they were paying attention was really nice. My mom brought me here and I told the server it was my first time, so they were very excited and explaining dishes to me. The server even asked if I even like plátanos which I told her I did so she was very excited for me to try Puerto Rican food. Give me plantains anything, she asked if I had wanted plátano frito or Tostones for my side on my Mofongo. I told her however Puerto Ricans eat it I want it that way, so she said "ok Tostones!" and it was great. They're play music inside and they have pictures on each table of Puerto Rican, singers and bands and they have a wall of all of these mask it looks really nice inside.
Finally got a chance to try Mofongos. Had to try the ... mofongos. If it's your first time at this restaurant, that is my recommendation since the namesake. But I did prefer my plate with special rice and beans. Next time I come back (and I will) I'd go for that. The coconut pudding tasted a little old, but that just makes me think it's very homemade :D. We also had passionfruit juice. Delicious but super sweet. Overall the service was nice, the waitress gave me recommendations and I couldn't have tried a little bit of everything without her. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't busy but I could see this place getting packed, they do take reservations!
A gem in Hollywood. An authentic Puerto Rican restaurant with one of the nicest servers I have encountered. From the beginning, our server was excited to explain the difference between dishes. She recommended the mofongo churrasco and I loved it. We were a group of six and there were plenty of seating options available. The decor is admirable as there is traditional Puerto Rican art and artist displayed. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. The food is a 10/10. The flavor and presentation were there for me. The portions are filling as we ended up taking part of our meals to go. Our host mentioned that they are starting a new event with live music and dancing. She did mention it would start as one Saturday of the month, I would be interested in that as well.
